| Volunteers at Girl Scout of Crooked Tree devote their time, energy, and talent to 4,000 girls throughout Northwest Lower Michigan each year. They are the "force" that makes Girl Scouting happen in local communities. Each year, at Crooked Tree's Annual Meeting, outstanding volunteers are recognized for their contribution to Girl Scouting. Local business and organizations are sited for their contribution to the success of Girl Scouting.
At the Service Area level, the Numeral Guards/Years of Service , Outstanding Volunteer Award, the Outstanding Leader Award , and the Leader Development Pin may be given. These awards may be presented at any time during the year or at Crooked Tree's Annual Meeting.
To nominate an individual or a business/organization for Girl Scout recognition, please complete Nomination for Special Girl Scout Recognition. Nominations must be received at our Service Center by mid-February each year.
