Girl Scouting is about the fun, friendship and power of girls together!
It is for every girl, everywhere -- where todayís girls can become tomorrowís leaders. Any girl between the ages of 5-17 can be a Girl Scout by committing to following the Girl Scout Promise & Law.

What do you like to do after-school or in your free time? What would you like to learn more about, try for the first time, or become really good at?
Whether its art, music, camping, swimming, horseback riding, cooking, fashion, exploring a career, helping others, traveling across country or visiting another one, Girl Scouting can make it happen for you! Click on your age level below for more info on what Girl Scouts your age are doing.

Join a Troop! Get the most out of your GS Experience as part of a group of friends who explore lots of different activities and interests with the guidance of a caring mentor.

Join a Group! Take part in an interest group that focuses on what you are really into, whether it is extreme adventure or community service.

Join as an Individual! Just because you are really busy or there isn't a troop near you, that doesnít mean you have to miss out! Become an individual member and attend special events and work independently on projects.

Adults! Girl Scouting is fun and life-changing for our adults members as well. Join as a registered member in support of your childs' troop or learn how you can give just a little of your time and talents to girls who need your skills and guidance as a Girl Scout Volunteer.

COSTS

An annual national membership fee of $12 is all you need to pay to be a part of Girl Scouting. No girl is ever denied membership due to financial difficulty and some registration fee scholarships do exist.

Girls in troops work with their leaders together to determine additional dues or expenses based on troop plans and product sales participation. Financial assistance is available for every program offered to Girl Scouts.

Uniforms are nice to have, but are not required. Adults pay a $12 annual registration fee and training is provided for all volunteers for your safety and the safety of the girls. Further information is located in Current Volunteers section.
