 ANNUAL GIVING
Annual Giving supports the quality girl program
associated with the Girl Scout movement.
Girls are
given the opportunity to develop self-esteem, self-reliance,
leadership skills, and a sense of community through
their troop activities, council events, summer camp
programs, and travel opportunities. Adult volunteers
are trained to mentor girls at specific age levels—to
empower girls and change their lives. Although the
Annual Giving request is mailed in November each
year, contributions may be made at any time.
GIFTS FOR GIRLS
Contribute to Gifts for Girls and contribute
directly to girls—girls who need financial help
to participate in the Girl Scout activities available
to them. Membership
Dues Assistance pays the $10.00 registration fee
required by our national organization. The Girl
Scout Gold Award Scholarship is a renewable $1,000
college scholarship offered to recipients of the Girl
Scout Gold Award. Travelships exist for junior
and senior high age girls who are interested in traveling
nationally and internationally. Financial Assistance is
available for any Girl Scout attending resident camp,
day camp, council-wide events, and council sponsored
trips. Generous contributions to Gifts for Girls ensure
that every girl in Northwest Lower Michigan can benefit
from the Girl Scout program.
PLANNED GIVING
Are you interested in making a lasting
gift to Girl Scouts of Crooked Tree? You can help ensure
the future of Girl Scouting through a gift to our endowment
fund in the form of stocks, life insurance, retirement
accounts, charitable gift annuities, charitable trusts,
and direct financial contributions. You may also remember
Girl Scouts of Crooked Tree in your will.
MEMORIAL OR TRIBUTE
Do you know someone who is a big fan of
Girl Scouting? Have you ever considered making a contribution
